Grades (2-3) & (4-6)

This is a dedicated test prep course where expert English teachers at LTWN will help your student prep for one of most challenging portions of the CogAT and Iowa Assessment tests which are the Verbal Reasoning and Reading sections respectively with authentic test strategies and test questions.

The Verbal Reasoning in CogAT assesses students’ abilities to use search, retrieval, and comparison processes that are essential for verbal reasoning. Subtests include Verbal Classification, Sentence Completion, and Verbal Analogies. The focus is on vocabulary, comprehension and word relationships.

Iowa Assessments Test consists of Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Word Analysis, and Spelling etc.

These tests are administered by school districts to identify gifted and talented students and/or also to provide differentiated instruction.

“Our daughter took this workshop during summer before entering 5th grade and was fully prepared for these tests which happened at various intervals from fall through winter. We were very impressed with the quality of materials, the attention given to each student (even though it was a group class) and our student’s outcome.”— Happy Parents
