STAAR Reading Language Arts
Grades 3 to 8

STAAR English I and English II End-of-Course
Grades 9 to 10
Required for graduation. Both exams include written essay components. Fort Bend ISD, particularly Clements HS feeder schools, sees high parent engagement in supplemental writing preparation.

Clements High School in Sugar Land and Seven Lakes in Katy ISD have historically been among Texas's top SAT performers. Students targeting selective universities or NMSQT recognition benefit from our verbal Test Prep track.

Yes. We work with families across Katy ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Lamar CISD. Sugar Land and Missouri City families are well-represented in our classes alongside Katy and Cinco Ranch families. All classes are online.

Is College Admission Essays useful for students targeting Texas universities like Rice or UT Austin?
Absolutely. Rice University requires a set of supplemental essays that are among the most demanding of any university in the country. UT Austin's essays require students to demonstrate specific qualities clearly and efficiently. Our CAE program covers personal statement, supplementals, and the activity list from March of junior year through final submission. Clements and Seven Lakes seniors use it every year.
