Small online classes. Expert instruction. Familiar with Plano ISD, TAG, and the competitive North Dallas academic environment.
Writing in Plano
North Dallas corporate growth — Toyota, JPMorgan, Liberty Mutual, Capital One — has built one of the country's fastest-growing South Asian professional communities. Plano ISD's three senior high schools each serve more than 2,500 students, and the Talented and Gifted (TAG) program draws competitive enrollment from early elementary. Writing is often the gap that parents identify when their children are strong in math but not receiving the same quality of feedback in English. LTWN 360 fills that gap with small-group classes, weekly assignment feedback, and a year-round curriculum that compounds year over year.

Texas ELA assessments
These are the assessments Plano students take. LTWN builds the skills each one tests.
STAAR Reading Language Arts
Grades 3 to 8
State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness. Replaced TAKS. Tests reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written response. Results affect grade promotion and school accountability ratings.
STAAR English I and English II End-of-Course
Grades 9 to 10
Required for high school graduation. Both exams include a written essay component. Plano ISD English I and II teachers prepare students rigorously, and supplemental writing practice makes a visible difference.
PSAT/SAT
Grades 9 to 12
Plano ISD students are among the strongest SAT takers in Texas. The verbal and writing sections test the precision and analytical reading that LTWN builds from early grades.
Learn to Write Now has a different approach to teaching the art of writing compared to many of the other educational centers. It is well thought out and flawlessly executed. Their program has helped my daughter improve her vocabulary and think out of the box when it comes to writing.

Questions from Plano parents
Does LTWN prepare Plano ISD students for the STAAR English assessments?
Yes. The STAAR Reading Language Arts test in grades 3 to 8 requires reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written response skills that LTWN 360 builds systematically. The STAAR English I and II EOC exams in 9th and 10th grade also include written essay components, and students who have practiced structured analytical writing regularly perform better on those exams.
My child is in Plano ISD's TAG program. Will LTWN be challenging enough?
TAG families make up a meaningful part of our Plano enrollment. Our program isn't structured around school-level expectations, it's structured around building writing and analytical skills that go beyond grade level. Strong writers get more complex assignments, more targeted feedback, and are placed in groups with similarly capable peers.
Are there other Allen and Richardson ISD families in the classes?
Yes. Classes draw from across Plano, Allen, Richardson, Carrollton, and Murphy. All classes are online and grouped by skill level, not by school district.
