Take the Free Assessment
The student picks a grade band and completes a free, grade-appropriate diagnostic covering writing, reading, grammar, and critical thinking. It takes about 20 minutes and the student completes it independently, without help from a parent, tutor, AI tool, or the internet, so the result reflects real baseline skill.

Book a Free Consultation (Optional)
Families who want to talk through the recommendation can book a free 15-20 minute consultation with an LTWN instructor, not a salesperson. The outcome is an honest program fit and clear pricing. There is no pressure to enroll.
Enroll and Get Placed in a Cohort
Once a family enrolls, the student is placed in the class that matches their grade, skill level, and schedule. Group classes cap at 6-8 students; 1-on-1 coaching is matched to a single instructor.
The Framework
Assess, Match, Instruct, Track, Report
1. Assess
Every new student starts with the free diagnostic described above. It is the same instrument regardless of which program a family is considering, and it is the baseline every later progress report gets measured against.
2. Match
Assessment results, current grade, and scheduling constraints determine which cohort a student joins. A student who is well ahead of grade level can be placed in a more advanced group; a student who needs foundational work gets matched accordingly rather than dropped into a mismatched class.
3. Instruct
Classes run live over Zoom, once per week, for 75 minutes, in groups capped at 6-8 students. Nothing is pre-recorded. Families needing more individual attention or a non-standard schedule can choose 1-on-1 Coaching instead of a group class.
4. Track
Every assignment a student submits gets written feedback from their instructor, not just a grade. This is the accountability layer that runs underneath every program, week to week.
5. Report
Parents receive periodic progress updates during the term and a more detailed report at the end of each semester, both measured against the original assessment baseline.
Class Format
What a Class Actually Looks Like
- Platform: live over Zoom. No pre-recorded video, no self-paced modules.
- Schedule: one 75-minute class per week, with seasonal schedules published for Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer.
- Class size: group classes cap at 6-8 students; 1-on-1 Coaching is one student per instructor.
- Recording policy: classes are live only. Materials are shared so a student who misses a session can complete that week's work.
- Homework: roughly 20-30 minutes of writing practice, four times a week, on top of the weekly live class.
- Technology needed: a laptop or desktop with a webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection. No specialized software beyond Zoom.
